The why behind Engage is to connect people to God and to connect them to their meaningful work in the earth. We celebrate our diversity not just of race or political views, but we celebrate the diversity of our different talents, experiences, and where we are in life.

During this series Pastor Adrian will be diving into the ingredients of Engage. The first ingredient is Innovative Reconciliation. Pastor Adrian takes use through most important reconciliation, the one between humans and God that was accomplished by Jesus.

Pastor Adrian concludes our study on the book of Isaiah. Using Luke 4 where Jesus reads from the scroll of Isaiah Pastor Adrian poses an important question to the people of God, especially the Church in America, Is Jesus welcomed here? We see that even in his hometown Jesus was not welcomed because his intention has always been to build a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural church that is built of every nation and people group. So we will have to decide if we will be like Jesus' hometown and not welcome Him because of His desire for diversity, or will we go against the grain of our current cultural climate and partner with Jesus to build His diverse Church.

Guest Pastor, Chip Buhler, dives into Isaiah 53:1-8. He describes the Power of God's Word, The Passion of Jesus Christ, and The Promises of New Covenant. He encourages us to find his healing at the cross and reminds us that we are free by the blood of Jesus Christ that can fix anything as long as we conform by it.

As we continue our study of Isaiah, we explore Isaiah 50 today. When we go through life, whatever path we take is typically led by something. What we allow to be our torch along the path of life is led by either fear or faith. Do we let ourselves light our path out of fear, or do we let God be the torch on our path through faith?

As we continue in our study of Isaiah, Pastor Adrian zooms in on Chapter 11. Pastor Adrian shows us how God has a future hope for His people. In this hope, God wants to show us a person, a place, a path and a people.

Life is a constant state of tension between dreams and nightmares. What is important is we never lose faith and understand we serve an unshakable kingdom. We need to lament during our nightmares so we can process and know where we stand, because God already knows. We need to understand our faith is not in a man, but our faith and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. 

This sermon dives into Isaiah 6:1-13 where Isaiah realizes his calling from God. Pastor Adrian informs us that there are 3 levels to God's calling: personal, community, and generational. He encourages us to go into a deeper level with God even if our calling plays a small part.

The nation of Israel began with a promise from God to Abram. Though they wandered and broke the covenant, God's promise remained. Even in judgement, God did not quit on his people. In their most dire of circumstances, Israel had the hope of God's word. This same hope is extended to us through Jesus, who never quits on us.

In today's sermon Pastor Adrian brings to our attention a few questions like "Is Jesus everything in your life?", "Do you proclaim the goodness of Jesus?", "What kingdom are you building for God?". And reminds us to long for something greater than just this moment by leaving a legacy of faith.

In today's sermon we explore what it means to be competitive in our faith. We are not talking about competition in our good works. Competitiveness is the relentless pursuit to accomplish a mission. In our case, this is the relentless pursuit of the Mission Jesus has laid out before us.  

Hebrews 12 calls us to "run with the endurance the race God has set before us".  We need to patience and clarity to find our individual race.  For this, we must keep our eyes on Christ as our champion to initiate the process.

This week we begin a new sermon series titled simply "The Dash." Throughout this series we will explore how that our lives impact not only ourselves and those around us, but future generations as well. We will explore what we must do to leave a legacy of faith. 

Continuing in our Make Change sermon series, Pastor Adrian encourages and challenges us to live outside our comfort and to go "Outside the Camp." Outside the camp is where sacrifice occurs, so in order for us to serve, sacrifice and give like Jesus did we must be willing to met Jesus outside the camp.

Continuing in our Make Change sermon series, we examine the nature of stewardship and our role as stewards in managing God's resources. Do we turn to God for ultimate approval of our financial decisions? Or do we rely on our own wisdom?

Money. It's a huge part of our lives. Most of our time throughout our week is spent at work or sleeping, but when it comes to money many of us forget to ask Jesus what his perspective is on money. There are many places in scripture that describe money and possessions. Throughout this series we will explore the topic of money and how it relates to justification and sanctification. 

He is risen! He is risen indeed! Happy Easter everyone! Today we celebrate Jesus Christ's victory over death, His resurrection for the salvation of our sins. We all have expectations of things in life and how certain things are, but once we encounter them these expectations can be shattered. We explore the importance of His death and resurrection, and how God meant for us to be in His presence. 

Are you comfortable in life? Perhaps a little too comfortable?  The push and pull of everyday living, along with cultural influences and conveniences often lull us into a state of complacency.  We become comfortable in our ways and ignore our call to live outside of ourself to impact the lives of others and to be a force in delivering them to the Kingdom of God.

He came to this world to sacrifice Himself for our salvation and forgiveness of sins. We have a tendency to let Jesus become an add-on to our lives rather than the center. Throughout this series we will explore how when we experience and follow Jesus, life is different. This week we explore how our perspective dictates or response not only in life, but of Jesus as well.

If you have been attending church for a decent amount of time you have heard the phrase "Make war against your sin." This, as most things, is easier said than done. This week Derrick Hayes not only encourages us to make war, but shows us the reason behind why we should make war against our sin. Because of God's amazing grace and Him making us righteous, we can now be inspired to make war against our sin.
