In the conclusion to our 'Apprentice' sermon series, we turn again to 2 Timothy, where Paul, nearing the end of his life, gives his disciple a powerful exhortation and instructs him on how to finish well.

In the wake of recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, we take this Sunday to reflect on the role Christians should assume, and the perspective from which we should approach such a tragedy.  Where the enemy seeks to divide, we must pursue reconciliation and maintain an attitude of compassion and healing through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Continuing our epic 'Apprentice' series at Engage, we open 2 Timothy this Sunday to unpack Paul's instructions for effective ministry.

There are two ways we live as a Christian. We are either in Adam (sin) or in Christ (salvation).  In 1 Timothy 6:11-13, Paul describes how we can live in Christ. We must run from sin and pursue righteousness, holiness, and godliness; fight the good fight of faith; and take hold of eternal life.
